GRAMMY® Award Winning

Laufey

Composer, singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Laufey (pronounced lay-vay) is an LA-based, Icelandic-Chinese artist who’s trailblazing approach paid off, as she is now the top streaming jazz artist in the world with
an audience of over 23M across socials.

At just age 15, Laufey performed with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and
a few years later she received a prestigious Presidential Scholarship to attend
the Berklee College of Music to play the cello. Laufey’s breakthrough came instantaneously with her first single “Street by Street,” written while
attending Berklee.

Two albums later, Laufey has won her first GRAMMY® for Best Traditional Pop Vocal for her second album Bewitched, making her the youngest person to ever win in this category. This achievement is one of many that has led to Laufey being highly celebrated for breaking down the barriers between pop and “high-brow” genres and connecting listeners across generations.
